Legal basis
The processing of personal data is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies — for example to visitors from the European Economic Area — processing is based on the legitimate interest in the secure operation of this website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on answering your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Data collected when you visit this website
When this website is accessed, the web server automatically stores data in server log files:
- IP address of the requesting device
- Date and time of access
- Name and URL of the file requested
- Browser and operating system used
- Referrer URL transmitted
This data is used solely to operate the website technically, to analyse errors and to ensure security. It is not combined with other data sources and is not evaluated for marketing purposes. Log files are deleted automatically after a short period.
Hosting is provided by Kreativ Media GmbH, Zurich, Switzerland. The provider processes the data as a processor solely to deliver the hosting service.
Encryption
This website uses TLS encryption (indicated by “https” and the padlock symbol in the address bar). Content transmitted cannot be read by third parties.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking. Technically necessary cookies are set only when logging into the protected administration area and do not affect ordinary visitors.
Fonts
The fonts used are served from our own server. No connection to Google servers is established when this website is accessed, and no IP address is transmitted to Google.
Statistics and analytics
No web analytics service is currently active on this website. Usage behaviour is not evaluated and no usage data is transmitted to third parties. Should an analytics service be introduced in future, this policy will be updated beforehand and the required consent obtained.
Contacting us
If you contact me by email or telephone, your details are stored in order to process your enquiry and to deal with any follow-up questions. This data is not passed on without your consent and is deleted once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Contact form
If you use the contact form on this website, the information you enter (name, company, email address, telephone number, subject and message) together with the date, time and IP address of the submission is sent to the email address stated above and additionally stored in the database of this website. Storage ensures that enquiries can still be answered if email delivery fails. The data is processed to answer your enquiry; it is not used for advertising and not passed on to third parties. You may request deletion of your enquiry at any time.
To protect against automated spam, the form contains an additional field that is invisible to humans. No data is transmitted to third parties and no external services are used.
Confidentiality of client data
Documents received in the course of consulting and audit mandates — in particular recipes, supplier information, process descriptions and audit results — are treated confidentially, are not passed on to third parties and are not processed on this website. A non-disclosure agreement can be signed in advance on request.
Disclosure to third parties
Your data is disclosed only where this is necessary to perform a contract, where you have consented, or where there is a statutory obligation. Data is never sold.
Your rights
You have the right to information about the personal data processed about you, and to have it corrected, deleted or its processing restricted. Where the GDPR applies, the rights to data portability and to object also apply. Please contact the address given above.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or with a competent supervisory authority in the EU.
Changes
This privacy policy may be amended if the website, the services used or the legal requirements change. The version published on this page applies.
